How it works

To become an owner of an Evan Thomas 10% Fee franchise you must first contact one of our franchise consultants who will lead you through the application and ownership qualification process. You do not have to pay a fee to apply. To get started, contact us here.

Setting up a 10% Fee franchise is simple. You will more than likely work from home and use your existing personal computer, printer and telephone. You will need a high-speed Internet connection to access the recruiting portal. Using 10% Fee’s recruiting portal, you will have access to:

  • Job order management and applicant tracking system
  • Proprietary and confidential job-seeker database
  • A major public job-seeker database
  • E-mail, calendar and task-management system

Once you become an owner and set up your new business, this is how we work together:

Business Development

10% Fee’s national business development team markets our recruiting services to employers. Once an employer becomes a client of 10% Fee, they work directly with Client Service Managers (CSM) when they need help recruiting talented professionals for job openings.

Key points:

  • We work with employers in every major market and from within every industry
  • You do not have to make cold-calls or follow-up with employers, we provide you with job orders

Job Order Management

When a client has an open position, the CSM for that client will publish the job order to our recruiters via the recruiting portal. You will have access to job orders from across the country and from within every industry. You choose which job orders you want to work on. If you want to work on a job order from within an industry you’re not familiar with, the CSM will personally provide you with the necessary information in order for you to identify and screen qualified job seekers.

Key points:

  • You choose which job orders you want to work on, regardless of your current level of experience
  • Our CSMs have the relevant industry experience for the job orders in which they manage, and they will share that experience with you
  • By working in multiple industries, you obtain additional experience and you avoid uncontrollable fluctuations caused by economic factors

Search and Submittal

You search for candidates and work on multiple job orders simultaneously if you choose to do so. When you identify and screen qualified candidates, you submit your candidates to the CSM. The CSM performs additional candidate screening and presents the most qualified candidates to the client. When the client is ready to interview the candidate, the CSM prepares the candidate for the interview and helps to manage the meetings throughout the interview process.

Key points:

  • You focus on searching for qualified candidates and since you’re not marketing for job orders or managing send-outs, you will be able to manage more job orders than you would otherwise
  • You screen job seekers and submit qualified candidates to CSMs using the recruiting portal
  • CSMs manage the client presentations, allowing you more time to work on your business

Placement

When a client hires a referred candidate, the client pays a fee based upon a percentage of the newly hired candidate’s first year’s total expected compensation. 10% Fee invoices the client once the candidate accepts the offer of employment and the client pays us on the newly hired employee’s first day of work. We pay you a placement commission for referring the candidate.

Key points:

  • Clients pay a “placement fee” for hiring one of our referred candidates
  • We pay you a commission for sourcing the candidate
